Gorgani was born with a need to satisfy the founder’s desire for elegant and beautiful scarves crafted by individuals, not machines. Having access to a multitude of fabric stores, inspiration can result in fitting finds. Whether it be something as simple as a circle on a drawing paper or flower blossoms in nature, inspiration abounds.
An important step in choosing our fabrics is not only seeing the variety available but being able to touch it and ensuring that it is something wearable. Not all fabrics will be exquisitely soft but they will look exquisite when worn.
We believe that many fabrics can result in a stunning scarf. Gorgani features camel hair, wool, modal, cashmere, silk, satin, charmeuse, chiffon and other blends of fabric. Depending on the occasion and climate, a different fabric can be worn.
